Vacation and Trail rides with Wildhorse River Outfitters in Beautiful British Columbia.

Guests are transported from Fort Steele or Cranbrook to the main camp where their adventure will begin. The guests stay in cozy, heated, well lit cabins.

Each morning after a good breakfast and packed lunch you will set off on a new adventure and experience our picturesque mountains and high alpine meadows and basins, with their lakes and variety of delicate mountain flowers and a whole range of wildlife which are seen frequently in their summer ranges high up on the slopes or timber edges. Watch the Elk, Deer, Moose, Mountain goats with their young. There is always a chance to spot a Grizzly in their natural habitat feeding on grassy slopes or meadows.

Admire the breathtaking scenery, take pictures, climb a ridge or even fish in one of our different lakes for Cuttrout, Dolly warden or Rainbow Trouts and we will cook them for you for lunch or dinner. Our trips are tailored to suit your needs and your adventure can be from 3 - 5 days. Group size is limited to no more than 4 persons; this ensures personalized attention for everyone. Trips are available from June - August.

We supply foam pads for your bunk, food , saddle and saddle bags, guides and cook. Guests are required to bring their own personal items, sleeping bags, pillow, rain gear, warm and cool weather clothing, comfortable beds, fishing rods & lures, and camera with plenty film. All guests wanting to fish are responsible for their own fishing licences.

Rates are CAN $150 per person per day. A 50% deposit is required to confirm reservation dates. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival date or paid in cash at time of arrival. Payments can be money wire, bank draft, cash or cashier's cheque. Deposits are non-refundable but may be credited towards a future trip "within a year" if you cancel more than 30 days prior to departure.
